  1. In a mixing bowl, combine butter flavored Crisco and white sugar. Mix until combined.

  2. Add eggs, almond and whipping cream (or buttermilk). Mix until combined.

  3. Add baking powder, salt, flour and mix well.

  4. Fold in blueberries

  5. Spray a loaf pan. Pour batter into pan.

    Top loaves with sugar to slightly caramelize, adding a hint of toffee-like flavor.
